I stopped here while visiting Portland, and had such a great experience! Cory is kind and welcoming. He had a fantastic selection of canvases, fibers and everything else you could need. He gave me great ideas for the canvases I bought. I tried all the new fibers he recommended and loved them! I will definitely come back on my next trip.

My daughter saw her aunt needlepointing and wanted to learn so we headed into Northwest Needlepoint and Cory helped her pick out what she needed to get started and even took the time to give her a lesson on all the basics so she could feel confident in what she was doing.

If you are serious about needlework, this is your place. Beautiful store with lovely hand painted patterns and lots of thread selection. Very friendly & helpful. Only drawback is they ONLY have unique hand painted patterns for a premium cost (prices I saw ranged from $40 - $1000). Not a store for beginners IMO.

The folks here are so kind. My young son was interested in the needlepoint process and they were gracious enough to give him a quick demonstration. We will be back to purchase a beginners kit.

This shop is wonderful. The inventory of beautiful canvases and threads is amazing. Corey, the owner, is so knowledgeable and helpful. It’s been a while since I’ve done any needlepoint, and after picking out a canvas, he spent over an hour helping me pick the right threads and colors and then making sure I had all the supplies I needed. I so appreciate this level of customer service.

Visited this shop for the first time yesterday. The shop had a wonderful selection of canvases & great stock & variety of fibers. Cory was very helpful, knowledgeable & just great to talk to. I wish this shop was in my neighborhood!

There are also many classic canvases in the store. Beautiful finishing is also offered at the store. Arts at its best in the Northwest!

I came in for some wool needlepoint yarn and Cory was so welcoming and friendly!
I ordered 18 colors to inspire my upcoming projects and look forward to picking them up and spending a bit more time getting to know the awesome people hanging out doing art.
